Movie Review: Frozen II

Frozen 2 was absolutely incredible. Sitting through this movie was truly a magical experience. My life will be forever changed because of how spectacular it was. From the animation to the heartwarming story to the quirky characters and music, this movie was the perfect embodiment of a remarkable Disney movie. Despite receiving lower reviews than the first film, I thought that the two were both equally fantastic.

This film follows the story of Elsa’s venture into the Enchanted Forest along with Anna, Olaf, Sven, and Kristoff, after hearing a mysterious voice calling out to her. During this thrilling journey, they discover many shocking things about their parents’ past and experience a beautiful story of self-discovery. This movie was hilarious, sweet, and exhilarating.

First of all, the soundtrack was absolutely phenomenal. There was a wide array of instruments that beautifully blended together. A melodious motif reoccurred throughout the movie, undergoing thematic transformations and rhythmic variations, which was intriguing to listen to. The soundtrack was really astounding, so much so that it has been nominated for many awards including the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, and the Satellite Award for Best Original Song.

Next, the animation was extraordinarily vibrant and exciting. It was so detailed and every scene was designed flawlessly. The amount of accuracy put into each of the characters was so profoundly astonishing that I thought I was truly immersed in this sublime experience. It was unlike anything I have ever seen.

I thought this film was absolutely hysterical. Throughout the movie, Kristoff relentlessly tries to propose to Anna but each time he tries, it goes totally astray. And then, there’s Olaf who is the cutest, quirkiest and most lovable character. I would personally say that Olaf was the highlight of the entire movie. He was so funny I almost died choking on my drink; which I would’ve been fine with since this movie was definitely worth dying for.

I would rate this movie 11/10. I would highly recommend this movie to everyone. It’s perfect for any age, for families, for friends, for any occasion. Sure there may be some cheesy parts, but who doesn’t like cheese? It’s tasty, nutritious, and has many uses. We all need some cheese in our lives.
