How to Make Mshabak

Mshabak is a very popular Middle Eastern dessert mainly found during the holy month of Ramadan. It is a very sweet dessert, so it is mostly served after supper, and it is important because Muslim people fast for a month and this is like a treat for after breaking your fast. It can also be eaten on regular days but it is mostly popular in Ramadan. 


  • 4 cups of sugar 
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of semolina
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of instant yeast

Making the Sugar Syrup:

Put it to the side until it cools down.
