Try this warm, cozy, apple drink—perfect for getting in the holiday mood!

- 1L apple juice
- 5 strips of orange peel (use a potato peeler and slice up the side of the orange)
- 1 cinnamon stick, with extra to garnish
- 3 cloves
- Brown sugar, sugar, or honey (sweeteners), to taste
- Orange slices to garnish
Step 1: Simmer (light bubbling) the apple juice with the strips of orange peel, cinnamon stick, and cloves in a pot until the flavours of each ingredient have mixed into the apple juice. This will take about 10 minutes.
Step 2: Sweeten to taste: turn off the heat, add small amounts of the sweetener of your choosing into the pot, stir, and taste. Repeat until you are satisfied with the sweetness.
Step 3: Pour into a glass, add an orange slice and a cinnamon stick, and serve.
